The basic MRC-105 features a drip proof keyboard, a Removable 40 Gbyte hard disk and 256 Mbyte of RAM. Standard interfaces include two serial RS-232, one parallel and one xVGA. Five slots accept printed circuit modules that are available for all PC compatible computers. This allows for the attachment of a range of compatible peripherals, accessories and interfaces. The MRC-105 can run MS-DOS, SCO UNIX, QNX, MS-WINDOWS or any other operating system designed for the PC. The standard MRC-105 operates from 20 - 30 VDC power source. With dimensions of only 7.‘‘ high x 7‘‘ wide x 18‘‘ deep, the MRC-105 is ideally suited for sheltered or outdoor field use. The MRC-105 can be fitted with a kit with slides to satisfy those applications requiring rack mount option, or with tabletop mounting kit for applications require surviving tougher environments.

The MRC-105 passive Backplane allows an easy replacement of the CPU board to current available SBC. The backplane is upgradeable
